THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.35400 OF 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner is said to be the contractor engaged for sanitation and cleaning toilets etc., in M.G.B.S., Hyderabad. The original contract period was for a period of two years from 05-07-2012 to 04-10-2014 and it was being extended from time to time and the last extension also expired on 04-10-2015. The petitioner submitted a representation on 03-10-2015 seeking further extension of the contract and when no orders were passed on the said representation, the present writ petition is filed.

2. A perusal of the office order passed by the 1st respondent shows that last extension was made from 05-04-2015 for a period of six months or till the allotment is made through tenders whichever is earlier, on nomination basis. It appears that no nomination has been made and in the circumstances, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03-10-2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
