This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief:
"To issue order direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declare the action of the respondents in evicting the petitioner from his covered in RS No.95 an extent of Ac.7.00 Cts, situated at Mulagalampally Village, Jeelugumilli Mandal, West Godavari District, as illegal arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of APSALT Reg.1/59 as amended by Reg.1/70 and consequentially direct the respondents not to evict the petitioner from his land covered in RS No.95 an extent of Ac.7.00 Cts, situated in Mulagalampally Village, Jeelugumilli Mandal, West Godavari District without following due process of law."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the subject lands have been acquired for Polavaram Project and the authorities have already passed the award and compensation to the petitioner herein has been paid. On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein has raised Virginia Tobacco crop in the subject lands and he may be granted 30 days time for harvesting the same. 3.
In view of the above, petitioner herein is granted 30 days time to vacate the subject premises and hand over possession of the property. Otherwise, it is open for the respondents to take action as per law. 4.
Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
