Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioners that they are the absolute owners of the agricultural land of an extent of Ac.15.49 cents, situated in Survey No.143 of Kodimi village, Rachanapalli Post, Ananthapur Mandal and District. Since there are no prospects for agriculture, they wanted to convert the said land into plots and in that connection they went to the office of the third respondent and noticed that the name of Sri Anjaneya Swamy Manyam was recorded in the revenue records in respect of the above land. In those circumstances, they applied to the third respondent for correction of entries and the third respondent passed an order dated 24.06.2015 stating that in respect of the land in Survey No.143, in Khata No.

169 in 10(1) Register the name of Sri Anjaneya Swamy was mentioned and in the village Diglot it was mentioned that Talari Peddanna @ Sanjeevappa was pattadar. In those circumstances, the petitioners were asked to submit the relevant documents in support of their case. The petitioners, instead of satisfying the third respondent with regard to their title, preferred a revision before the second respondent on 16.04.2017. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking rectification of the entries in the revenue records even when the said revision petition is pending before the second respondent. It is not known whether the said revision petition is pending or not.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
