HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.2393 of 1999 ORDER:

This Writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of the respondents in seeking to collect property tax/ service charge from the petitioner for the buildings bearing Nos.19-2-75, 76 and 75/ B as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently, direct the respondents not to collect the property tax/ service charge from the petitioner, as the petitioner is exempted from paying property tax/ service charge under the provisions of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it informed that the issue involved in this matter is squarely covered by order, dated 28.01.2014, passed by a Division Bench of this Court in WP No.1851 of 2014.

In view of the same, this writ petition is also disposed of in terms of WP No.1851 of 2014. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
