When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the services of the petitioner were about to be disengaged, he has filed the present writ petition and this Court was pleased to grant interim directions to issue necessary posting orders on 01.11.2002 and by virtue of the said interlocutory orders, the petitioner is being continued in service. He further submits that in view of the interim orders, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Learned standing counsel for the respondents has also not disputed the said fact.

In view of the above said submissions, the writ petition is closed.
