HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 29013 OF 2017 ORDER :
This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to award (3) to (5) marks in addition to (59) marks out of (150) marks already secured by the petitioner in Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET)-July, 2017 to enable the petitioner to get qualified to appear for DSC/TSPS/2017 for appointment as teacher. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will make necessary application in respect of his grievance stating that he secured 59 marks out of 150 marks, which is one mark less below the cut off mark and that the petitioner could not secure 60 marks out of 150, as the guidelines issued for allotment of scribe and grant of more time for visually handicapped persons were not followed by the respondents.
In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is open for the petitioner to make a representation before the concerned authority, within a period of one week from today, for taking necessary action and on such application, the competent authority to consider
the same and take decision, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of.
