Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no longer interested to pursue the company petition on account of the settlement arrived between the petitioner and respondent. Hence, the petitioner does not wish to press the company petition.

Though the company petition came to be filed in the year 2016 and notice before admission came to be issued on 23.03.2016, as on the date, the company petition has not been admitted. In these circumstances, there cannot be any objection for closing the company petition, as per the request of the petitioner. Accordingly, the company petition is dismissed as not pressed.
