THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 3839 of 2019 O R D E R:
Petitioner asserts that an extent of 632 square yards of land was utilised by the respondents in the process of road widening from Mamatha Hospital to Gollalagudem Village; that she submitted a representation on 25.11.2016 to the authorities concerned seeking compensation; that acting on the said representation, respondent No.3-District Collector, Khammam vide letter, dated 07.11.2018, sought information from the Commissioner, Khammam Municipal Corporation; that thereafter, there was no intimation to her; that her counsel addressed a letter, dated 11.10.2018, to the Commissioner stating all the aspects and that no action has been taken thereafter. In those circumstances, she seeks a writ of mandamus. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2.
Having regard to the facts on record and particularly considering the fact that respondent No.3 had in fact addressed a letter to the Commissioner, it is evident that respondent No.3 was seized of the matter, however, it appears, there is further inaction on the part of his Office.
In those circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.3 to complete the enquiry within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order with regard to the grievance of the petitioner and intimate the result
thereof to the petitioner to enable her to work out her remedies available in law.
