This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.2 in Crime No.495 of 2017 on the file of the Krishna Lanka Police Station, Vijayawada, for grant of anticipatory bail. The offence alleged is under Section 306 IPC.

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. Perused the record.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the daughter in law of the deceased; that she along with her husband did not take care of the needs of the deceased, who are old aged, and that therefore, they were forced to commit suicide. Going by the facts of the case, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, the petitioner can surrender before the Court concerned and seek regular bail. On such surrender, the concerned Court is directed to consider the bail application of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law on the same day subject to the regular pressure of work.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
