HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.3557 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be working as Assistant General Manager/District Manager, in Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to be promoted as Deputy General Manager. Claiming that he is entitled to be promoted as Deputy General Managar, he has submitted several representations the first of which was on 29.10.2014 followed by reminders on 24.03.2015 and 19.05.2015. But so far no orders are passed. Hence, this writ petition.

2. According to learned counsel for the petitioner earlier petitioner was visited with punishment. But on appeal, the punishment is now set aside and his period of suspension was regularized. Therefore there is no impediment in considering him for promotion.

3. When the matter is taken up learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government pleader agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to pass orders on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the said submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 29.10.2014 followed by reminders on

24.03.2015 and 19.05.2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
