THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.24525 of 2002 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the parties have agreed for the following order.

"Petitioner company shall file appeal against the demand notice dated 06.07.2002 issued by the first respondent as provided under Rule 22 of Schedule II of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act within two weeks from today. The appellate authority shall consider and decide the appeal on merits in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the appeal. Till the appeal is decided, the interim order granted by this Court on 06.01.2003 shall remain operative. It is needless to mention that the appellate authority shall consider the appeal on merits in accordance with law and uninfluenced by this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not considered merits of the case. It is further made clear that if the appeal is not filed within the stipulated time, the interim order shall stand vacated automatically."

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
