THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No.28493 of 2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition is filed for a writ of Habeas Corpus for production of the petitioner's brother-in-law from the illegal custody of the police.

The Sub-Inspector of Police & Station House Officer of Karapa Police Station, East Godavari District filed a counter affidavit furnishing the details of the arrest of the petitioner's brother-in-law, the alleged detenu, and his remand to judicial custody.

No reply affidavit was filed rebutting the aforesaid counter affidavit. However, there was no representation for the petitioner when the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.10.2017 and it was accordingly directed to be posed for dismissal. Today, though the matter appears under the said caption, there is no representation for the petitioner or his counsel. 4.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
