HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 4300 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the request of the petitioner for conversion of vehicle of the petitioner from Maxi Cab bearing Registration No.TS 13UA 1665 to Omini Bus, under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, as arbitrary and illegal.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner who submits that the lis in the writ petition is squarely covered by order dated 27.01.2020 passed by this Court in WP.No.1528 of 2020.

The same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport.

In view of the above, following the reasons in the said order, this writ petition is also disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application before the competent authority for conversion of the vehicle by paying necessary fee and on such application being received, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the said application within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such application. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
