HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.10320 OF 2016 ORDER:
The case of the petitioners is that they have filed a statutory appeal before the 2nd respondent under section 4(A) of A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, on 10.03.2016 along with the application for suspension, against the order dated 05.03.2016 passed by the 3rd respondent - Deputy Collector, & Tahsildar, Hayathnagar Mandal, R.R.district, in File No.C/1193/2015. But, the 2nd respondent did not pass any orders on the application for suspension of the order passed by the 3rd respondent. Aggrieved by the same present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
Since statutory appeal under Section 4 (A) of the A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 is pending, I deem it proper and appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, Status Quo, obtaining as on today shall be maintained by both the parties.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
