This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners/ A.1, A.2 and A.4 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.748 of 2016 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of IPC. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1, A.2 and A.4, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

There are specific and grave allegations against the petitioners/ A.1, A.2 and A.4 constituting offence punishable under Section 498A of IPC. There are also statements of number of witnesses to substantiate the allegations levelled against the petitioners/ A.1, A.2 and A.4. There are no grounds to quash the proceedings in the subject Calendar Case pending against the petitioners/ A.1, A.2 and A.4. The Criminal Petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed. 4 .

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
