THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE NO.760 OF 2017 ORDER:

Even today also, none appeared for the petitioners. This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the order passed on 13.3.2017 in Writ Petition No.8147 of 2017 while issuing notice before admission. This Court directed the 5th respondent not to fill up Canal (Panta bodhi) until further orders. Now a counter affidavit is filed by the contemnor stating that for construction of a building for Anganwadi, pillars were raised and slab level is reached but not in Panta Bhode. The said building for Anganwadi is constructed 20 meters away from the Panta Bhode. In view of the same, the further proceedings in the present Contempt Case are not warranted and the Contempt Case is accordingly, closed.

Since the main Writ Petition is pending, if there are any subsequent developments, the petitioners can bring them to the notice of the Court in the pending Writ Petition. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
