Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for the respondents. 2.

This writ petition is filed alleging that the disciplinary proceedings initiated on 08.05.2012 are not concluded and the retirement benefits are not paid to the petitioner, causing hardship and suffering to him.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader, produced orders of the Government in G.O.Rt.No.331, Revenue (Vigilance.I) Department, dated 25.11.2019, imposing punishment of 5% cut in pension for a period of one year. He further submits that simultaneously, proposals are sent for releasing of pension and other retirement benefits.

In view thereof, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies, as available in law, if so advised, on the punishment imposed, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
