With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue.

The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not allotting the houses under Indiramma Scheme in favour of the petitioners, who are the original beneficiaries, and allotting house sites in the name of benami persons in Sy.No. 42-1, 36-2 and 44-1A to E, Sy.No.43-2A1 to 2A2, 2B and Sy.Nos. 50-2, 52-2A, 2C situated at Kotnuru Village, Hindupur Mandal, Ananthapur District, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the first respondent to conduct an enquiry. Though the learned counsel for the petitioners raised various grounds, he seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of their representation dated 17.06.2010 at the earliest, in accordance with law.

The Government Pleader on instructions stated that the petitioners are entitled for house sites, but their request for grant of house sites by cancelling the house sites already granted to others cannot be accepted. The report dated 23.07.2015 prepared by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Penukonda, is filed before the Court today. It is to be noted that the beneficiaries were found ineligible only in Ward No.35 and there is no reference to Ward No.36. Having regard to the circumstances stated above and without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 17.06.

petitioners and pass orders in accordance with law, at the earliest. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
