ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/Accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.51 of 2016 of Eleswaram Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 341, 354(A), 506 and Section 7 r/w.8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 against him.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. A perusal of the complaint, discloses that there is material which is sufficient to proceed with the investigation and prima-facie, it cannot be said that it is a fit case that the proceedings are liable to be quashed.

4. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the police concerned are directed to proceed with the investigation without affecting arrest of the petitioner/Accused for a period of one month from today.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
