THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.189 OF 2016

O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 03.12.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.39253 of 2015. By the said order, this Court directed the police authorities concerned to take necessary action upon the petitioner's complaint dated 01.10.2015 in the light of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI V/s. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH[1]. The Inspector of Police, Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad City, filed a counter affidavit stating that upon the petitioner's complaint, Crime No.155 of 2016 was registered on the file of the said police station under Sections 342, 448, 427, 323 and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC.

In the light of the aforestated development, this Court finds no disobedience to the order passed in W.P.No.39253 of 2015 warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction.
