Wajid Ali v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3456 of 2018 ORDER:
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the second respondent in not disposing of the revision petition bearing No.F3/2490/2016 filed by the petitioner against the order of the third respondent in appeal No.A3/2000/2008, dated 21.09.2012, confirming the order of the fourth respondent dated 15.10.2004.
When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader, on the basis of instructions, submits that the case was posted on 21.12.2017 for final hearing and on that day it was adjourned to 22.02.2018. But, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that number of adjournments are being granting without concluding the case.
In the circumstances, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the revision petition as expeditiously as possible, but not later than the next date of hearing i.e., on 22.02.2018. It is needless to observe that the petitioner as well as respondent Nos.5 to 10 shall cooperate for disposal of the case on that day, and if for any unavoidable circumstance, an adjournment has to be granted at the instance of respondent Nos.5 to 10, it
should be a short adjournment and the case shall be disposed of.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 05.02.2018 Note: Issue C.C in one week.
