This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the application made by the petitioner on 21.06.2017 for appointment as trustee to Gurudwara Saheb Nalebagh Sikh Chawni, as arbitrary and illegal.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner filed W.P.No. 5755 of 2011 and this Court directed the respondents to continue the petitioner to manage the affairs of Gurudwara Saheb till the trust board is formed and further directed to issue notice inviting applications for constitution of Trust Board. 4.
The petitioner claims that he is managing the affairs of the Gurudwara Saheb till date. He further submits that the petitioner also filed Writ Petition No.18923 of 2017 for protecting the properties of Gurudwara Saheb and this Court disposed of the same on 13.06.2017. 5.
As seen from the record, pursuant of order of this Court, the respondents issued notification on 18.04.2017 calling applications for appointment of trustees. In pursuance of the said notification, the petitioner submitted application on 19.06.2017, which was received by the respondent on 21.06.2017, but till date no orders are passed on the said application.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondents to consider the application, dated 19.06.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner for appointment as Trustee of Gurudwara Saheb, in accordance with law.
