THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.BHASKAR REDDY Contempt Case NO. 1210 of 2015 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of orders dated 02.12.2013 passed by this Court in W.P.No.31589 of 2013. By the above said order, this Court was pleased to dispose the writ petition in terms of the orders passed in W.P.No.31736 of 2013 dated 07.11.2013, while setting aside the impugned proceedings issued by the respondents. On a bare perusal of the record, it appears that the competent authority was directed to consider the objections and finalize the proceedings. It was left open to the petitioners to request for supply of a copy of the remarks of the GHMC and the petitioners were directed to cooperate with the respondents. The entire exercise was directed to be completed as expeditiously as possible strictly in accordance with law.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Further, this contempt case is pending from 2015 and cognizance has not been taken as required under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act.

In these circumstances, this Contempt case is closed as no further order is necessary. However, liberty is granted to the

petitioners, if any cause survives, to file fresh application seeking revival of the contempt case in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
