THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.567 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioners/A-1 and A-2 in C.C.No.1245 of 2015 on the file of XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Mechal arising out of Crime No.141 of 2014 on the file of Jawahar Nagar, Cyberabad for the offences punishable under Sections 354-D and 506 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In any event, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioners/A-1 and A-2 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is essentially required for the purpose of framing of charges and also for examination under Section 313 Cr.P.C. The petitioners shall be properly represented by his counsel. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
