THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA Writ Petition No.20344 of 2012 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to admit the petitioner into Under Graduate Courses (Medicine stream) for the academic year 2012-13 in S.V.University area, as per his merit rank in EAMCET-2012, treating him as a local candidate of S.V.University area, in the light of the law declared by this Court in W.A.No.45 of 2006 dated 24.01.2006. A Single Judge of this Court in W.P.M.P.No.26099 of 2012 dated 20.07.2012 opined that, as the petitioner's case was identical to the one decided by a Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.45 of 2006 dated 24.01.2006, he was entitled to be considered as a local candidate.

As the interim relief granted to the petitioner is, in effect, the final relief, which can be granted in the writ petition, it would suffice to make the interim order as the final order in the writ petition. It is so ordered, and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
