THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.3991 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioners/A-3 and A-15 in C.C.No.17 of 2013 on the file of Principal Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases Court, Hyderabad arising out of Crime No.18 of 2011 of CID, Hyderabad registered for the offences punishable under Section 120-B, 403, 408, 409, 418, 419, 420, 471 and 468 IPC and Section 13 (1) (c) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Section 13 (1) of A.P. (Regulation of Appointments to Public Services and Rationalization of Staff Pattern and Pay Structure) Act, 1994 and Section 79 (1) (f) & 79A (a) to (c) of A.P. Cooperative Societies Act, 1964. Heard and perused the material available on record. After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In any event, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioners/A-3 and A-15 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is specially required for the purpose of framing of charges and also for examination under Section 313 Cr.P.C. The petitioners/A-3 and A-15 shall be properly represented by their counsel.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed

of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
