THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.21514 OF 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondent Nos.3 to 5 in not considering the objections filed by the petitioners for shifting of Wine Shop existing at the beginning of 5th Road, Ananthapur Town and also stopping from granting of new licenses for further Wine Shops at the beginning of 5th road, Ananthapur Town, Ananthapur District is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to grant licenses for wine shops at the beginning of 5th Road, Ananthapur Town, Ananthapur District."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners requested the Court to direct respondent Nos.3 and 5 herein to consider the representation, dated 25.06.2017, of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 3.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, respondent Nos.3 and 5 are hereby directed to consider the representation, dated 25.06.2017, of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
