This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

"To issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not according permission for installation of additional machinery i.e., one number Horizontal Saw in addition to existing vertical saw, by keeping the applications submitted during the years 2011, 2014 and 2016 pending as being arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider and accord permission for installation of additional machinery viz. one number horizontal saw by considering and disposing the applications submitted in this regard including the latest application dated 03-11-2016 in the interest of justice."

When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of grievance the petitioner herein submitted a representation dated 03.11.2016 and the same may be directed to be disposed of by the respondents.

Recording the above said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 03.11.2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
