SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.9791 of 2013 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioners, who are A1 to A6, in C.C.No.160 of 2013 on the file of the II‐ Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Kovvur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 323 and 341 read with Section 34 IPC. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent.

The Public Prosecutor files a memo stating that the subject C.C was subsequently transferred to the Court of the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Kovvur, and re‐numbered as C.C.No.153 of 2014 and, thereafter, the case underwent trial and ended in acquittal by judgment dated 18.05.2015.

Hence, in view of the above, no cause of action survives for adjudication and no further orders are necessary. 5.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
