SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1223 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.1 in Crime No.246 of 2017 on the file of Women Police Station, Begumpet. The offences alleged are under Sections 489A, 506 of IPC and Section 4 and 6 D.P.Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record.

The allegation against this petitioner is that he used to come home drunk and that he got addicted to smoking and harasses the de facto complainant mentally and physically. It is also stated that the harassment increased day by day.

Hence, in the above circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, the petitioner/accused No.1 is directed to surrender before the lower Court and obtain regular bail. The lower Court shall dispose of the bail application expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to pressure of other work.

Accordingly, with the above observation, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
