THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.GANGA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9815 OF 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners-Grameena Vikas Bank seeking a direction to the respondents not to disburse the compensation amount to the land owners on the ground that they have obtained loans from the bank keeping the lands as a security and if the compensation is paid to them, it is difficult for the bankers to recover the amounts from the borrowers whose lands are mortgaged to the bank without producing no-objection certificates from the petitioners.

This Court, while admitting the writ petition on 01.05.2007, passed an interim order, directing the respondents not to disburse the compensation amount to the borrowers of the petitioners-bankers, without producing noobjection certificates from them for the lands for which acquisition proceedings under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, were issued on 24.01.2007. 3.

Now, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that loans were recovered from the borrowers and no-objection certificates were issued for the amounts of which compensation is being paid to the borrowers/land oustees, and hence, no further orders are required in this writ petition.

Recording the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
