K. Padmavathamma v. The Revenue Divisional Officer
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.17558 of 2009 ORDER:
The proceedings, under challenge in this Writ Petition, is the order suspending the petitioner's fair price shop licence pending enquiry. By an interim order dated 26.08.2009, this Court directed the respondents to permit the petitioner to run the shop. Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies would submit that the petitioner's licence was again suspended, in the year 2016, for tampering with the e-passes; and, thereafter her licence was cancelled, against which the appeal filed by her is pending before the Joint Collector.
In view of the subsequent events, it is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
