Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

Petitioner claims to be in possession of house bearing No.20-620/4-1, Garmilla Sivar, Mancherial Mandal, Mancherial District. Petitioner is aggrieved by disconnection of power supply on the electricity connection bearing No.S.C.No.6301848661, without notice and opportunity. 3.

According to learned counsel for petitioner there are no dues payable by petitioner and all the amounts due are paid. In fact, petitioner has also paid re-connection charges. However, power supply is not restored illegally.

On instructions, learned Standing counsel, fairly submits that prior to disconnection, no notice was given to petitioner. 5.

It appears from the material on record, the power supply connection is standing in the name of petitioner. If that is so, without giving notice to him power supply could not be disconnected even assuming that there are certain objections on the possessory claim of petitioner and ownership of the property. 6.

Thus, the respondents are directed to restore the power supply connection to Service Connection No.63018-48661. If respondents are inclined to take steps to disconnect the power supply, they shall serve notice on the petitioner consider the objections and by assigning reasons shall pass orders. It is also

- 3 - open to the respondents to consider the objections, if any, filed by third party claiming to be the owner of property. 7.
