THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 15976 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner-institute is as to the inaction on its application dated 13.12.2013 for shifting its location from Gangadharanellore to Puttur in Chittoor District and for changing its name. The petitioner-institute states that its application

was duly recommended by the High Power Committee, but the matter is kept pending before the Principal Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare, A.P., the first respondent.

Upon receiving instructions, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the State informs this Court that the matter is now pending consideration before the first respondent and that orders would be passed thereon shortly in accordance with law.

It is however noticed that similar cases which arose after the petitionerinstitute's case were considered by the first respondent, but the petitioner-institute's case has been kept pending. No reason is putforth for this delay. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner-institute's application dated 13.12.2013 taking into account the recommendation of the High Power Committee in its report dated 25.02.2014 and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon in accordance with law within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No costs.
