THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3470 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.0.34 guntas in Survey No.5/AA situated at Raidurg Khalsa Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, by virtue of a gift settlement deed dated 14.10.1997. The said settlement deed was executed by his vendor's younger brother, who was the original owner of the said land. In view of the said acquisition of title, the petitioner submitted an application on 15.07.2016 in Form 6(A) to the fourth respondent and when no action was taken by the fourth respondent in spite of several representations, the present writ petition is filed. Though an opportunity was given to the learned Government Pleader for obtaining instructions on 05.02.2018, no instructions were received by him.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the fourth respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records on 15.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
