THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.10539 OF 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-A.2 and A.6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.247 of 2012 on the file of the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Warangal registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 506 IPC and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners-A.2 and A.6, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1-State and perused the record. Having argued for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction may be given to the court below to dispense with personal attendance of the petitioners-A.2 and A.6. As per record, petitioner-A.2 is aged person. Petitioner-A.2 is mother, and petitioner-A.6 is brother, of A.1. They can be permitted to be represented by A.1 on filing of appropriate application before the court below. In the event of filing such an application, the court below may consider the same and proceed with the trial of the case.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
