THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3499 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioners state that their grandfather was the original owner and pattadar of the land admeasuring Acs.14.96 cents in Survey No.101 of Khyrevu Revenue Village, Setturu Mandal, Ananthapuramu District. He left behind him his son and daughter. The daughter and her husband died issueless. The petitioners' father remained as the sole legal heir and he was in possession and enjoyment of the said land. Thereafter, the petitioners' parents died leaving behind the petitioners as the legal heirs. Thus, the petitioners succeeded to the property left by their grandfather and parents. They submitted an application to the fourth respondent for mutating their names and when no action was taken, they filed an Appeal before the third respondent. When the third respondent did not dispose of the said Appeal, which is numbered as R.C.No.C3/956/2015, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the Appeal is still pending.

In view of the same, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioners for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the land admeasuring Acs.14.96 cents in Survey No.101 of Khyrevu Revenue Village, Setturu Mandal, Ananthapuramu District, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
