THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.23821 OF 2000 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to continue the petitioner as Accountantcum-Assistant Secretary in the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society Limited, Daggavolu by duly setting aside the proposed termination dated 25.11.2000.

Heard Smt.Rachna Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Cooperation. While admitting the Writ Petition on 11.12.2000, this Court granted interim direction to continue the petitioner. A perusal of the records reveal that the age of the petitioner at the time of filing of this Writ Petition, i.e. in the year 2000, was 45 years and as on today, his age would be 62 years and the petitioner would have attained the age of superannuation and hence, no lis would survive in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
