These two Writ Petitions are being disposed of by this common order as they were filed by two different dealers challenging the inaction of the second respondent in passing orders pursuant to the issuance of show cause notices and suspension of the authorization of the petitioners. The authorization of the petitioners was suspended on 26.04.2017 and on the same day show cause notices were issued alleging certain irregularities. The petitioners submitted their explanations to the show cause notices. In spite of the same, when no enquiry was conducted and no action was taken thereafter and the petitioners' authorization was continued under suspension, the present Writ Petitions are filed. When the show cause notices were issued and the petitioners submitted their explanation, the second respondent should have concluded the proceedings as expeditiously as possible, but he appears to have not taken any action for conducting the enquiry. The continued suspension of the petitioners without conducting proceedings cannot be appreciated.

In the circumstances, these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the second respondent to complete the enquiry after

giving due opportunity to the petitioners, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
