HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.15817 OF 2017 ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that he made representations on 09.03.2017 and 06.04.2017 to the 2nd respondent for deletion of the land admeasuring Ac.4.69 cents in Sy.No.214/1 situated at Chennayyagunta Village, Tirupati Urban Mandal, Chittoor District from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908 (for short 'the Act') and the same is not being disposed of. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. As per the Full Bench judgment reported in Vinjamuri Rajagopala Chary Vs. State of A.P., represented by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Hyderabad and others1, the District Collector is the competent authority for taking action on the representations of the petitioner. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner in accordance with law and take action accordingly. The said exercise shall be done within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
