ORDER:- Heard.
2. Pursuant to the directions of this court in W.P.No.33875 of 2013, dated 20.11.2014, the vendor of the petitioners filed an application before the District Collector, second respondent, seeking no objection certificate on 18.02.2015. Said application is referable to G.O.Ms.No.307, Revenue (Assignments.I) Department, dated 06.06.2013, whereunder the District Collector is the competent authority to consider grant of NOC with regard to the lands allotted to ex-servicemen to enable them to file application after the moratorium. Petitioners state that though the application was filed on 18.02.2015, so far the second respondent has not taken any further action in the matter and hence seeks appropriate directions.
3. Since the matter only relates to consideration of application of the vendor of the petitioners, who has filed the said application for grant of NOC, and since the said application is pending with the second respondent from February, 2015, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the second respondent to consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
