ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

This writ petition is filed alleging that respondent police are interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner and that his privacy is affected since police frequently calling him to police station even though no crime is registered against him.

Based on the written instructions dated 2.3.2019 furnished by Sub Inspector of Police I Town Police Station, Kothagudem, learned Government Pleader would submit that person by name Mr.Vadde Venkateswarlu S/o Veeraswamy filed a complaint on 2.1.2018 stating that Mr Satrajupalli Venkateswarlu impersonated him and secured job in M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited at Kothagudem. Based on said complaint, Crime No. 6 of 2018 was registered at I Town Police Station, Kothagudem and investigation is in progress. That in the process of investigation, police addressed letter to M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited to furnish entire original record pertaining to enlistment and personal status of the petitioner herein on the allegation of impersonation and reply from M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited is awaited. It is further stated that in the process of investigation police may require presence of petitioner. It is averred that except registration and proceeding with investigation, respondents never summoned petitioner nor interfered with his life and liberty. 4.

Having regard to the assertion of the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner no more survive. Writ Petition is accordingly

disposed of. It is needless to observe that police shall not call the petitioner to police station, unless required in the process of investigation. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
