Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Co-operation, for respondents.

In this Writ Petition the petitioner seeks payment of arrears of salary, Gratuity, encashment of Earned Leave and Provident Fund and other retirement benefits to him from the 1st respondent. 3.
Admittedly, the 1st respondent is a Primary Agricultural CoOperative Society, registered under the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964.

No material is placed before this Court to say that the said Society is a "State" coming within Article 12 of the Constitution of India so as to maintain the Writ Petition.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to petitioner to avail other alternate remedy. No order as to costs. 6.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
