This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents 1 to 4 in safe-guarding the land situated at Pamidi village, belonging to Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple, Guntaka town, by removing the encroachments by the Respondents 8 to 19, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of the provisions of the A.P.Charitable & Hindu Religious Indstitution & Endowments Act, 1987, and consequently to direct the respondents No.1 to take appropriate action for removing the encroachment in order to safeguard the land belonging to the Temple.

This writ petition is filed for the alleged inaction on the part of the authorities in safeguarding the temple land, and, as a matter of fact, even prior to the filing of the writ petition and during the pendency there of, necessary steps have been taken by the Department, which culminated in filing of O.A., before the Tribunal. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
