O R D E R

Aggrieved by the inaction of the 2nd respondent - Tahsildar, in not disposing of the applications of the petitioner bearing Nos.MU021901302296, MU021901302312 and MU021901302389, for mutation of his name in the revenue records in respect of the subject land, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the as per the averments made by the petitioner, unofficial respondents 3 to 5 who are the original owners, are stated to have executed G.P.A. and the said G.P.A. holder executed sale deeds in favour of the petitioner in respect of the subject property, and now the original owners have filed complaint against the said GPA holder alleging that the GPA and the sale deeds are created and fabricated, and based on the same, Crime No.

92 of 2019 dated 22.03.2019 has been registered on the file of Rachakonda Police Station, and in view of the same, the 2nd respondent could not dispose of the applications filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records. It is to be seen that when the application is made before the statutory authorities, he is expected to dispose of the same in accordance with law after notice and opportunity of hearing to the applicant and other affected parties, if any, and he cannot keep the application pending without passing any orders. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the applications of the petitioner referred to above, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
