O R D E R

The case of the petitioner is that his mother is the owner and possessor of the subject property by virtue of a registered gift deed dated 06.02.1989, and her name was also mutated in the 1-B Register and in the pahanies and subsequently, after demise of her mother on 15.11.1996, he made On-Line application in Form-IV A of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, on 28.09.2014, for mutation of his name in the revenue records, and in pursuance of the same, the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar issued notice in Form - VIII in file bearing No.B/ 938/ 2014 dated 01.10.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of about five years, the 3rd respondent has not taken any action for mutation of his name in the revenue records. Aggrieved by the said action, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the leaned counsel, writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the Form VI-A application of the petitioner dated 28.09.2014 in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and other affected parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
