- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WP.No.4342 of 2019 ORDER :

Petitioner is aggrieved by bills generated by the respondentPower Distribution Company and contends that huge amount of bill is levied on him more than what he is actually utilizing and the same is illegal. According to petitioner, there is some problem with the transformer and petitioner is penalized without rectifying the mistake.

02. However, record would disclose that aggrieved by inflated bills generated by the respondent-company, petitioner availed remedy provided before the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (for short "Forum") by filing applications on 12-02-2019 and 13-03-2019 and those applications are pending. 03.

Learned Standing Counsel on instructions informs the Court that Forum is functioning, but it does not sit every day. If the petitioner requests to consider his applications, the Forum would take-up the same.

04. Since petitioner has already filed applications before Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

05. As petitioner complains that every month power bill is generated, the same is causing hardship to him, the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (Telangana State Northern Divisional Power Corporation), Shastri Nagar, Nirmal is directed to consider the applications filed by the petitioner on 12-02-2019 and 13-022019 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
