O R D E R

This criminal petition was filed by the sole accused in Crime No.264 of 2016 on the file of the Bowenpally Police Station, Hyderabad, to quash the proceedings therein under Section 482 CrPC. While so, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that a charge-sheet had already been laid in relation to this crime before the learned XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, and was taken on file in C.C.No.3022 of 2016.

In the light of this development, this case, as framed, no longer survives for adjudication on merits.

The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner/accused to take appropriate measures, if he so chooses, in relation to the later development in the form of filing of a charge-sheet against him before the competent criminal Court.
