Sri R.K.Suri counsel for petitioner submits that the challenge to Circular No.1086/ RD-SHG(SC)/ 08 dated 23-04-2009 as on date cannot be valid and tenable in view of the policy changes referred in the counter affidavit and also subsequent orders issued by the Government in the matter of paying Social Security Pensions. Therefore, he submits that the writ prayer does not survive for consideration.

The statement is placed on record.

The writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No order as to costs.
