This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.72 of 2017 on the file of the Kaikaluru (R) Police Station, Krishna District, registered for the offences under Sections 409 & 477-A of I.P.C. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

Having argued the matter for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused sought permission to withdraw the Criminal Petition. As seen from the records, there are no merits in the Criminal Petition. However, permission, as sought for is accorded.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
